Eurotech's compact, low power embedded
system based on Intel Atom Processor
Eurotech has launched the Catalyst LP, a new compact, low-power
embedded system based on the Intel Atom processors N450,
D410 and D510. The Catalyst LP embedded system offers high-performance
graphics for applications requiring 2-D and 3-D visualization
with high-resolution graphics capabilities, including digital
signage. The Catalyst LP is suitable for industrial, medical,
gaming, human-machine interface applications.
The key features of Eurotech's Catalyst LP are,
Compact 67x100mm form factor, flexibility in allowing migration
to Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and multicore technology
(with the dual-core Intel Atom processor D510)
Low-power design with Eurotech microcontroller-based power
management system
Supports Windows CE, Windows Embedded Standard and Wind
River Linux 3.0 operating systems
Eurotech says, with a common footprint, the Catalyst LP
system is easily scalable and allows existing Catalyst Module
customers to migrate to the new Intel Atom processors N450,
D410, or D510 with minimal effort. The system also offers
extensive I/O capabilities with the Intel 82801HM I/O Controller.
