Miniature Solid State Relay handle 120mA current with 35 Ohms on-resistance

The CPC1394G Solid State Relay from Clare Inc a new 4-pin, 5000Vrms isolation barrier, OptoMOS 1-Form-A (Single Pole, Normally Open) Solid State Relay (SSR), with blocking voltage of 600V.

The CPC1394G features 120mA of current handling in combination with 35 Ohms of maximum on-resistance offered in both DIP and surface mount packages.

Clare's 5000Vrms OptoMOS relay expands the current offering of miniature 4-pin package devices, providing the optimal combination of voltages and currents to designers and experiences with multi-chip packaging and proprietary leadframe design to achieve a 5000Vrms input to output isolation.

The CPC1394 device targets metering and medical equipment markets and well suited for applications where it is desirable to cut off the rectified high voltage DC power in off line charger and power supplies in the 5 watts range, to eliminate their standby power dissipation (known as "vampire power" waste).
