compliant powered devices
Axiomtek has released the iCON-34080/34080L, a new unmanaged
PoE Ethernet switches that can power IEEE802.3af compliant
powered devices (PD) and transmit data simultaneously. The
iCON-34080/34080L PoE switches are suitable for outdoor
applications such as IP video surveillance, APs, industrial
controls and intercoms.
The iCON-34080/34080L series is an 8-port unmanaged Ethernet
switches supporting IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE)
on ports 1 to 4 that are capable of supplying up to 15.4W
each. Additionally, each port can automatically detect when
PoE compliant devices are attached.
The iCON-34080 series complies with NEMA TS1 & TS2
environmental requirements for traffic control equipment.
The key features of the iCON-34080/34080L PoE switches
are,
Complies with IEC61000-6-2 EMC generic standard immunity
for industrial environment
Classified as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE)
1024 MAC addresses, 1M bits buffer memory
Alarms for power and port link failure by relay output
Redundant power inputs with terminal block and DC jack
Supports DIN-rail, panel, rack mounting installation
The iCON-34080/34080L series uses external 48VDC power
inputs through terminal block or power jack, data and power
can be transmitted to a Powered Device (PD) over the same
twisted-pair Ethernet cable through port 1 to port 4 on
the unit. The iCON-34080 series offers many different options,
from one fiber port to two fiber ports to facilitate long-haul
data transmission.
