Video filter amplifier with short-to-battery
protection for automotive applications
Maxim has launched MAX9532, an analog video filter amplifier
IC. MAX9532 drives standard-definition (SD) video connections
to an in-dash or rear-seat automotive video display. The
rugged MAX9532 packs short-to-battery protection up to 18V
on the video output to save an external series resistor.
This device is suggested for backup cameras and infotainment
systems.
The MAX9532 operate from a single 3.3V supply while driving
an industry-standard video signal without a DC offset. Saving
the board from external DC-blocking capacitors.
The MAX9532 improves video quality to any in-dash display
by providing the filtering needed to attenuate high-frequency
artifacts and noise in the video signal. The integrated
high-order filter features ±1dB passband flatness
up to 9.5MHz and 42dB attenuation at 27MHz.
Package: 3mm x 3mm, 10-pin µMAX® package
Operating supply voltage: single 2.7V to 3.6V supply
Operating temperature range: -40°C to +125°C
Price: Each $0.39 for 1k pieces.
