180MHz, 1mA power efficient rail-to-rail I/O operational amplifiers from Linear

Linear has introduced the LTC6246, LTC6247 and LTC6248, a family of operational amplifiers that utilizes a power-efficient SiGe process. These op amps consuming 1mA maximum supply current per amplifier to achieve 180MHz gain-bandwidth product, 90V/µs slew rate and a low 4.2nV/vHz of input-referred noise. The LTC6246, LTC6247 and LTC6248 are suitable for low supply voltage high-speed signal conditioning systems.

The key features of these op amps are,

-3dB frequency (AV = 1): 120MHz
Input common mode range includes both rails
Output swings rail-to-rail
42µA of power-down mode
Fast output recovery
Operating input voltage ranges from 2.5V to 5.25V
0.5mV Max of input offset voltage
Input bias current of 100nA
Large output current of 50mA
CMRR: 110dB
45V/mV open loop gain

These op amps can be used as plug-in replacements for many commercially available op amps to reduce power or to improve input/output range and performance.

The suggested applications of these op amps include driving A/D converters, rail-to-rail buffer amplifiers, active filters, video amplifiers, fast current sensing amplifiers and battery powered equipment.

Operating temperature range: -40°C to 125°C
