Keil new development kits supporting
STM32 and NXP LPC1700 microcontroller families
ARM's software branch Keil has made available a new MCBSTM32C
evaluation board and starter kit for ST Microelectronics
STM32 family of microcontrollers. Also Keil's MDK-ARM (Microcontroller
Development Kit) and RL-ARM (Real-Time Library) now support
STM32 line.
The latest release of MDK-ARM supports all STM32 devices
and includes set-up files, device-specific views, and example
projects. RL-ARM is the collection of middleware components
to develop applications using libraries for TCP/IP networking,
CAN, and USB. The Keil MCBSTM32C evaluation board features
the STM32F107VC microcontroller, 10/100 Ethernet, 2 CAN,
2 serial ports, and a QVGA LCD with touch screen. The MCBSTM32C
is also available as a starter kit with ULINK-ME USB-JTAG
adapter.
Keil has also released the MCB1760 evaluation board and
starter kit to support the NXP Semiconductor's LPC1700 Cortex-M3
processor-based microcontrollers.
The has NXP Semiconductor's LPC1768 microcontroller running
at up to 100MHz, together with a color QVGA LCD, Ethernet,
USB, CAN, SD/MMC card interface, and UARTs.
Other features of MCB1760 evaluation board are,
5-position Joystick and push-button
Analog Voltage Control for ADC Input
70 GPIO pins
JTAG, Serial Wire, and ETM Trace interfaces
Software and Examples
The Microcontroller Development Kit (MDK-ARM) features
numerous ready-to-run example projects for the MCB1760 evaluation
board, making practical use of the board's peripherals.
Some of these examples are built around the Keil RTX Real-Time
Kernel, also included as part of MDK-ARM.
The Real-Time Library, includes CAN, Flash file system
and USB device examples ported to the MCB1760 board.
