New 12-channel sequencer and system health monitor from TI

Texas Instruments has introduced the UCD90120, a sequencer and system health monitor that packs 12 rails of sequencing, monitoring capability for up to 13 channels of voltage, current or temperature, 10 channels of power supply margining, and allowing to diagnose power supply failures in their systems. The UCD90120 is ideal for any system requiring sequencing and monitoring of multiple power rails including industrial, telecom infrastructure, servers and storage systems.

The key features and benefits of the UCD90120 are,

Failures are analyzed and logged via non-volatile error logging
Detect over- and under-voltage power supply warnings and faults and respond to these faults by configuring retries, shutdown delays and slave rail shutdowns
Margin up to 10 rails via PMBus to ensure power supply performance at upper and lower limits

TI's Fusion Digital Power Designer Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows to configure the UCD90120 via a PMBus/I2C interface.

Package: 64-pin VQFN package
Price: Priced at $4.95 for 1k pieces
