Advantech's new ARK-1310 compact embedded computer
Advantech has introduced a new embedded box IPC, the ARK-1310
entry-level system platform that is suitable to harsh environments
and ideal for kiosks, gateway controllers, product line
automation, IO control systems, data collection and transition,
and general automation controllers, and targeted for embedded
control applications.
The ARK-1310 offers a pack of small, rugged unit with 2
x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x LAN ports, and 4 x COM ports, all powered
by an Advantech EVA-X4150 processor. All four COM ports
support RS232/422/485 with auto-flow control. This compact
embedded computer is equipped with a solid-state onboard
CF card up to 8 GB, so it easily passes 50 and 5 Grms shock
and vibration tests. For supply power, it supports a wide
range of input voltages, from 9 VDC to 24 VDC.
Features:
Cost effective, entry-level solution
Built-in x86 SoC up to 150 MHz
Onboard 64 MB Memory (128 MB optional)
Supports VGA (LVDS optional)
4 x RS-232/422/485 ports with auto-flow
2 x 10/100 Mbps LAN and 2 x USB 2.0
1 x CF socket
Compact size: 189 x 130.6 mm, and 41 mm high (7.44"
x 5.14" x 1.61"), height within 1U limits.
Fanless
The ARK-1300 can serve standalone, wall-mounted, DIN-rail
or VESA mounted, and the rugged cast aluminum case provides
great protection from EMI, shock/vibration, heat and cold,
and also provides passive cooling for quiet, fanless operation.
Reduced power consumption makes this a cool running IPC.
ARK-1310 operates with Windows CE 5.0, Linux, or DOS, and
without hard drive. Not suitable for XP or XPe.
Operating temperature range: -20° C to 65° C
