Low on-resistance super-junction MOSFETs for high voltage power supplies

Fairchild has introduced a new 600V super-junction MOSFETs -SupreMOS for power supplies, lighting, display and industrial applications with low on-resistance and low figure of merit compared to its 600V SuperFET MOSFETs. These MOSFETs provide low input and output capacitances for efficiency at light load conditions, and features enable power supplies to meet ENERGY STAR 80 PLUS Gold classification for embedded computers and platinum classification for servers.

The 165-milliohm FCP22N60N, FCPF22N60NT and FCA22N60N, and the 199-milliohm FCP16N60N and FCPF16N60NT offers reverse recovery characteristics di/dt and dv/dt with high reliability for resonant converter, LLC and phase-shifted full-bridge topologies found in switch mode power supply (SMPS) designs. And also offers a breakdown voltages (-500V to 1000V), state-of-the-art packaging to deliver efficient power management where electronic power conversion is needed.
