New thermistor power meter and AC-coupled power sensor from Agilent

Agilent has released three new products, they are,

1. The Agilent N432A thermistor power meter
2. The Agilent N8488A AC-coupled power sensor
3. The Agilent U2000 Series USB Power Sensor.

Agilent has also announced upgrades to the Agilent U2000 Series USB power sensors, which now include internal triggering and trace display capabilities.

The features of Agilent N432A thermistor power meter includes:

1. It replaces the legacy 432A analog thermistor power meter.
2. It is a single-channel, average RF power meter.
3. It is suggested for applications that require high measurement accuracy, particularly in     metrology and calibration laboratories.
4. It comes with a digital color LCD display, user-friendly front panel interface and built-in     calibration factor table.
5. It also provides high accuracy measurements of up to 0.2 percent, for frequencies within 1     MHz to 18 GHz and power from +10 dBm to -30 dBm.

The features of Agilent N8488A AC-coupled power sensor includes:

1. It is a member of the N8480 Series' and has linearity of less than 1 percent, and built-in     EEPROM for faster, more efficient calibration.
2. Agilent claims that the N8488A has the widest frequency range in the industry (10 MHz to     67 GHz).

The features of Agilent U2000 Series USB Power Sensors includes:

1. They are compact, portable solutions that allow average power measurements without      power meters.
2. All sensors, except the U2004A model, feature internal triggering and trace display     capabilities.Internal triggering enables triggering based on the burst signal envelope,     eliminating the need for an external triggering signal. Trace display provides a graphical     view of the signal envelope to assist in gate placement and trigger level setup.

"The launch marks our continued commitment to expand and enhance power measurement solutions for our customers," said Ee Huei Sin, vice president and general manager of Agilent's Basic Instruments Division. "What matters most to us is making sure we provide the best possible power measurement experience for engineers and technicians, one that is fast and accurate, as well as easy and convenient."

Price:
Agilent N432A thermistor power meter is priced at US$8,764.
Agilent N8488A thermocouple sensor is priced at US$6,000.
Agilent U2000 Series USB sensors are priced from US$2,608.
