E-Core LED product line from Toshiba enters North American lighting market

Toshiba has announced its official entrance into the North American lighting market with the launch of the innovative E-Core LED product line. The lamp line includes six reflector lamps in three colors and two A19 bulbs in two colors. The downlight line includes six models available in four colors, in which is said to reach luminous flux of 1250 lumens.

These products offer a number of advantages over traditional incandescent or fluorescent lighting such as a longer product life, this product operates for no less than 40,000 hours, which reduces power consumption and CO2 emissions by as much as 85 percent (LED A19 lamp 5.6 W compared to incandescent bulb 40 W).

E-Core products offer the following features:

High-energy efficiencies.

Long life and high reliability (no less than 40,000 hour lifespan).

High-color rendering (Ra over 80).

Low UV/IR radiation.
