Video signal generator from Rohde & Schwarz with Konica Minolta analysis software

Rohde & Schwarz have introduced DVSG digital video signal generator, which has the CS-S10w analysis software from Konica Minolta preinstalled to test the TV sets and projectors for quality of its video. This software supports the Konica Minolta CS200 and CS2000. The data recorded with the CS200 or CS2000 is evaluated directly on the display of the R&S DVSG.

The R&S DVSG consists of HDMI interface that uses the test patterns obtained by the generator to provide high quality signals by the test. The Konica Minolta CS200 or CS2000 performs the chromaticity measurement. The CS2000 allows contrast measurements in a ratio of up to 100,000:1 with adjustable measurement angle. The analysis instruments are directly connected to the signal generator via a USB cable. The Konica Minolta meters are controlled using the evaluation software preinstalled on the R&S DVSG. All the data can be displayed on the generator. The R&S DVSG functions as a signal source and a control unit that can control automated test sequences in a multi-equipment system.
