16-Bit RISC microcontroller with integrated USB transceiver by Maxim

Maxim has introduced the MAXQ622, a 16-bit RISC microcontroller with an integrated USB transceiver designed for low-power applications. This microcontroller operates from either an external supply (1.7V to 3.6V) or directly from USB power, power supply can be monitored for optimal usage. The MAXQ622 consumes an low 300nA (typ) in stop-mode operation, these power-saving capabilities make the MAXQ622 ideal for remote controls, security systems, thermostats, etc.

The MAXQ622 includes 128KB of flash memory, 6KB of data RAM, dual USART ports, dual SPI™ master/slave communication ports, an I²C port, an infrared (IR) module with carrier-frequency generation, and up to 56 general-purpose I/O pinsand it also provides a secure memory-management unit (MMU).

Package: 64-pin LQFP.

Price: Prices start at $2.09.
