Vishay's MC AT thin-film resistor series in new case sizes and better precision

Vishay has extended its MC AT series of professional thin film chip resistors to include devices in the surface mount case sizes of 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206. The new series offer high-temperature performance up to 175 °C for 1000 hours and high power ratings of 400 mW at an 85 °C ambient temperature making them fit for harsher environments. These new devices in 1206-size features ESD robustness to 2000 V (human body model).

These resistors are made to work in high moisture conditions and successfully tested at 85 °C and 85 % RH for 1000 hours.

The Precision series offers low TCRs down to ±15 ppm/K and tight tolerances of ± 0.1 %, while both new series feature an extended resistance range down to 47 ohms.

MC AT series are AEC-Q200 compliant and are CECC-approved
