Vishay's low-profile rectifiers feature ESD protection up to 25 KV

Vishay has introduced a series of low-profile surface-mount rectifiers with ESD protection to 25 KV.

The new MSE1Px rectifiers are available in SMP series MicroSMP package with footprint dimensions of 2.5 mm by 1.3 mm with 0.65 mm height. These devices have polarity protection application with miniaturized package and high IF (AV) capability, while the ESD protection feature improves the product reliability under harsh conditions. In addition to their ESD capabilities, the new devices feature a rugged maximum junction temperature of 175 °C and an MSL moisture sensitivity level of 1.

MSE1Px devices targeted for automotive and industrial control, sensor units, lighting systems, and offers a choice of 100-V (MSE1PB), 200-V (MSE1PD), 400-V (MSE1PG), and 600-V (MSE1PJ) reverse voltage ratings. All devices feature a high average forward current capability of 1 A and a high forward surge capability of 20 A. Their MicroSMP package is lead (Pb)- and halogen-free and RoHS-compliant.
