IR's power device with on resistance of 7.5 milli ohms for 24V automotive applications

International Rectifier has introduced the AUIPS7111S high-side intelligent power switch with low on-state resistance (RDS(on)) of 7.5 milli ohms for harsh 24V automotive environments such as under-the-hood truck junction boxes.

The AUIPS7111S offers protection features such as over-current and over-temperature shutdown in addition to an active clamp circuit to protect against repetitive short circuit conditions.

"With its ultra low RDS(on) and comprehensive set of protection features, the AUIPS7111S provides an efficient and reliable solution for harsh 24V automotive environments," said David Jacquinod, product marketing manager, IR's Automotive Products Business Unit.

The AUIPS7111S provides an accurate current feedback of +/- 5% over the entire operating temperature range while turn-on and off-time are optimized to minimize noise in EMI sensitive automotive applications. The 65V device also offers ESD protection and low current and logic level input.

The new device is qualified according to AEC-Q10x standards and is RoHS compliant.
Package: D2PAK

Availability: Now in volumes
Price: Each US $1.90 in 100K pieces
