1.2 KW front-end DC-DC power supply from Power-One for 48V operated equipments

Power-One has made available SFD1200-12BG, a new 1200W, front-end DC-DC power supply that provides a 12VDC, 99.2A maximum rated output. The SFD1200-12BG is suitable for data centers, servers, and storage equipment applications operating from a 48V DC voltage.

The key features of the SFD1200-12BG are,

DC input range from -40 to -75 VDC
Upto 91% of efficiency from a -48VDC input
1U or 2U height configurations
Active current share with ORing FET on +12V
Standby voltage of 3.3 VDC at 3 A
Overtemperature, overload, and overvoltage protection
Variable-speed fan for low noise at low ambient temperatures
Status LEDs: INPUT OK, OUTPUT OK, and FAULT
RoHS compliant for all six substances

The SFD1200-12BG status is provided with front panel LEDs, logic signals, and via an I2C management interface bus. In addition, the I2C bus can supply status information about the power supply including output current and voltage.

The SFD1200- 12BG meets international safety requirements for ITE and is CE marked to the Low Voltage Directive (LVD). The SFD1200-12BG also be used together with the AC input SFP1050-12 to provide a strategy for dual AC or DC input for telecom and datacom equipment.
